Standard Membership

Standard Membership is available to individuals who live or work in Alberta.

Examples include:

Child and Youth Care Counsellors
Supervisors
Administrators
Instructors and Trainers
Foster Parents
Individuals working within the CYC Scope of Practice
Individuals with CYC education or certification

Student Membership
$25.00/yr

Who Can Apply?

Students enrolled in a post-secondary Child and Youth Care program in Alberta, or
Live in Alberta and are enrolled in a post-secondary Child and Youth Care program outside Alberta.

🎓Free First Year After Graduation: Students who maintain a paid Student Membership are eligible for one free year of Standard Membership after graduation. Proof of graduation is required.

⚠️ Important: The free membership year is not automatic. Graduates must submit proof of graduation and request their renewal coupon code.

Organizational Membership
$100.00/yr

Who Can Apply?

Organizational Membership is available to agencies, organizations, and programs that work with children, youth, and families and agree to follow the CYCAA Code of Ethics.

⚠️ Important: Organizational Membership does not include access to online learning.

If you are purchasing membership for an employee, please select Standard Membership instead.

A current pay stub, dated within the last three months.

Proof of Alberta Student Status is required to proceed. Only one is needed.

A current student identification card OR
Proof of student status (Letter of Enrollment) that includes: name, student ID number and name of your college/university
A coupon code from your College/University; you can upload an image of that email
This will be required each year the membership is renewed
